Truck Tuning – Disable EGR, Adblue, DPF
Truck tuning is a very complex and precise subject matter. All files installed by Footprint on trucks are developed on a MAHA LPS3000 dyno-engine power testing station in Austria. You can thus be guaranteed that you are using the best in the business of tuning your very expensive truck. Adding more power to your truck will decrease fuel consumption if driven at the same speed as before the tuning. Over millions of kilometres, that trucks are known to do, this saving in fuel will be worth thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Rands. You can trust Footprint Performance to enhance performance on your truck, we do it safely.

We are also able to disable Adblue, EGR and DPF options on the following trucks; DAF, Iveco, MAN, Scania, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, DAF and Dodge.
EGR Valve
Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is a nitrogen oxide emissions reduction technique used in petrol/gasoline and diesel engines. Very often this EGR will go faulty, which causes rough or misfired idling, detonation, stalling and hard starting. All these symptoms could be very harmfull to your truck. We can disable this option for you as part of our tuning capabilties, or as a standalone option.
Adblue
Adblue is a solution that is used with the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system on some diesel vehicles to reduce emissions. This is very costly and can be disabled with a file loaded to the ECU. We can disable this option for you as part of our tuning capabilties, or as a standalone option.
DPF
A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is designed to remove soot from the exhaust of a diesel engine. These filters are blocked very easily and quickly and will cause your engine to run at higher temperatures than needed, causing your diesel truck to loose power. We can disable this option for you as part of our tuning capabilties, or as a standalone option. If you can benefit from these options, please Contact us
